‘The Guess Who’ to perform in-concert at IndyCar race

During the ABC Supply 500 Verizon IndyCar Series weekend at Pocono Raceway, famed Canadian rock band "The Guess Who" is scheduled to perform a live concert during the Infield Block Party on August 22.

From Winnipeg, Manitoba, "The Guess Who" was popular in the late 1960s and early 1970s with hits such as "American Woman," "These Eyes" and "No Sugar Tonight." In 1987, the band was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

More information about the concert will be announced at a later date.

Also during the race weekend, the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association will host the "Pocono Vintage Festival with IndyCar" on Aug. 20-23. The festival will include multiple vintage car exhibition races on both Pocono's 2.5-mile triangular track and its interior 1.37-mile southeast road course; a car show; and the 40th annual Shelby American Automobile Club Convention.
