IndyCar teams to test March 14 at NOLA Motorsports Park
Eight Verizon IndyCar Series teams will test the 2.74-mile, 13-turn track at NOLA Motorsports Park from 12:30-2 p.m. March 14. Three-time Verizon IndyCar Series champion, Scott Dixon, 2014 Indianapolis 500 winner Ryan Hunter-Reay and three-time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves will all be in attendance and more are expected at the test in preparation for the inaugural Indy Grand Prix of Louisiana, whic is set for April 10-12.
Teams expected to test are Team Penske (Will Power, Juan Pablo Montoya, Helio Castroneves and Simon Pagenaud), Andretti Autosport (Ryan Hunter Reay, Marco Andretti, Carlos Munoz), Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (Graham Rahal), Chip Ganassi Racing (Charlie Kimball, Tony Kanaan, Scott Dixon, Sage Karam), CFH Racing (Josef Newgarden, Luca Filippi), Schmidt Peterson Motorsports (James Hinchcliffe, James Jakes), KV Racing Technology (Sebastien Bourdais, Stefano Coletti) and A.J. Foyt Enterprises (Jack Hawksworth, Takumo Sato).
