Hunter-Reay leads opening practice at Detroit

Indianapolis 500 winner Ryan Hunter-Reay led opening practice today for this weekend's Chevrolet Indy Dual in Detroit Presented by Quicken Loans. The driver of the #28 DHL Honda turned in a lap time of 1:18.8595, two-two-hundredths of a second quicker than Dale Coyne Racing's Justin Wilson, as Honda-powered cars posted the two fastest times.
Indy 500 runner-up Helio Castroneves of Team Penske was third. 2013 Dual 2 winner Simon Pagenaud was fourth, with 2007 Detroit winner Tony Kanaan rounding out the top-5.
