Twelve Cup Team lose practice time at Texas

Twelve NASCAR Sprint Cup teams will be penalized 15 minutes of practice time Friday at Texas Motor Speedway. The penalties are for being late to qualifying inspection line last weekend at Martinsville Speedway. The teams penalized are: #20-Matt Kenseth, #99-Carl Edwards, #42-Kyle Larson, #15-Clint Bowyer, #31-Ryan Newman, #17-Ricky Stenhouse Jr., #40-Landon Cassill, #26-Cole Whitt, #7-Michael Annett, #78-Martin Truex Jr., #36-Reed Sorenson and #30-Parker Kligerman. Cup teams have 1 hour, 50 minutes of practice Friday, beginning at 6:00pm/et (FS1). The clock on these 15-minute penalties begin when the cars are ready for practice. The penalty for each team doesn't begin until the car is ready for practice. MRN
