Giuseppe Cipriani enters 2014 Auto GP with Ibiza Racing Team

Ibiza Racing Team will be back fielding its team-owner behind the wheel for the 2014 season. The Spanish squad will be led by Italian businessman and racer Giuseppe Cipriani, back in control of his 550-horsepower after an issue to his back sidelined him in 2013. Cipriani is the first driver announced by Ibiza Racing Team but talks are getting finalized for the second car. In 2013, the team ended up with the runner-up spot in standings.

“I’m proud to be back driving an Auto GP. This car is highly-powerful and it took a while to be back in shape from a physical standpoint. Nonetheless I’m happy to line-up for the start of the 2014 season. After the brilliant results secured at its maiden run in the series, Ibiza Racing Team is aiming for a repeat, and will once again rely on the technical skills of Ferdinando Ravarotto and on the sporting management of Modesto Benegiamo. We will be off for a shakedown in the next few weeks in order to be ready for the collective test at Valencia"
