IndyCar Champion Nominated for New Zealand Sportsman of the Year Award

2013 IndyCar Series champion Scott Dixon is among the nominees for New Zealand's Sportsman of the Year. Dixon won the award in 2008.

The winners of the New Zealand's Sportsman, Sportswoman, Disabled Sportsperson and Team of the Year Award categories are eligible for the Halberg Award. The winners to be announced at a ceremony at Auckland's Vector Arena in February.
