Dover Motorsports Cites Calendar Considerations For Revenue Dip

Dover Motorsports today reported results for Q3, during which the company promoted a NASCAR triple-header. Revenues were $21.5M, down from $22.8M in Q3 '12, but Dover maintains results are not comparable as the annual Firefly Music Festival took place in Q2 this year, instead of Q3 in '12. The decrease in revenues was primarily due to the timing of the festival and lower NASCAR admissions revenue, partially offset by an increase in broadcasting revenue.
