Jay Penske, wife Elaine Irwin expecting first child

IndyCar team owner Jay Penske and his wife, model Elaine Irwin, are expecting their first child this summer.

Penske, the youngest son of 15-time Indianapolis 500-winning car owner Roger Penske, confirmed the pregnancy Sunday at Barber Motorsports Park, site of the second IndyCar race of the season.

Irwin has two children from her previous marriage to Indiana rocker John Mellencamp.

Penske said he and Irwin were married last fall in India. IndyStar.com
