Dixon, Ganassi together through 2015

Scott Dixon will be with Chip Ganassi’s IndyCar team at least through the 2015 season. On Tuesday at Barber Motorsports Park Dixon confirmed his signing of a three-year extension. He has been with Indianapolis-based Ganassi Racing since the 2002 season.

“I would like to do another two or three contracts," he said. “The next contract could be a year, I don’t know.

“I’d like to race for a lot longer, but I’ll only race as I’m competitive. I’m not going to race for just filling the field."
