Pit stop drama at Zolder

UPDATE The pitlane victim from the Belcar Race at Zolder last weekend died yesterday evening in the Hospital at Zolder. The accident happened as Hans Thiers came in for his regular stop and the brakes from his Ferrari F430 suddenly faded away, knocking down one of his team members and a Dutch visitor. According unconfirmed news agency reports, the victim was also being involved in the team.

10/02/11 There was pit stop drama at Zolder Sunday afternoon, as the Ferrari of Hans Thiers lost it's brakes coming in for a routine stop in the Belcar Endurance Race, (the title was won by Goossens/Soulet in a Porsche GT3) and it knocked down three people, two from his own team, and one "spectator" who is being treated for life threatening injuries.
