Planned concert at MIS a failure

Jackson, Michigan locals believe that this weekend’s MiFest concert, being held at Michigan International Speedway (MIS), is a looming fiasco. Event organizers are talking about 10,000 tickets sold, which – as IndyCar fans know – would make it look like no one showed up inside of a stadium that seats over 100,000 people. Today the organizers, citing slow ticket sales as well as a desire for “…a more intimate feel…" cancelled its third stage, and told 8 bands to stay home this weekend.
