Dreyer & Reinbold shop expansion

IndyCar team Dreyer & Reinbold is adding a 12,000-square-foot addition to the team's shop in Carmel.

The plan is to include an apartment for visitors. The project is targeted for a May completion. Team manager Larry Curry told the Indy Star the expansion is part of an overall plan "to change how everyone looks at us."

The team has announced two cars/drivers for next year and is trying to add a third for either Tony Kanaan or Dan Wheldon. Kanaan could also end up at any number of teams including Dale Coyne, while Wheldon has been in talks with KV Racing.
