P1 engines relocates

It has been a busy few weeks for California based P1 Engines and isn’t due to the upcoming holiday season. Following a successful Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals event in Las Vegas, the premier engine building company has moved to a new location as well as begun preparation for fifteen customers to compete at the World Karting Association Manufacturers Cup event in Daytona Beach, Florida from December 28 – 30th.

"The new location will be a closer to my home as well as leave me with only a three minute drive to California Speedway,? expressed Jesus Vasquez, Owner of P1 Engines. ?With the close proximity to a karting facility, I will be able to better support my local customers as well as execute on track testing on a more regular basis."

P1 Engines will be completing their move before the Holiday season and will officially be open for business on January 3, 2011.

Vasquez added, "It has been a very busy time with long days but I am committed to get everything complete and grow my reputation. We are looking to have a great start to the 2011 season and that begins with some solid runs in Daytona."

Heading to the Manufacturers Cup program, P1 Engines will have a strong contingent of drivers looking to stand atop the podium. Veteran competitors such as Chris Wehrheim, Arie Ouimet, Jacob Duvall, Raquel Martinez Mason Chelootz and Shawn Sharkey will be utilizing P1 power in the junior and senior ranks while Zane Smith will continue to run in the Sportsman divisions.

With the opening round of the 2011 Manufacturer's Cup program taking place on the grounds of the Daytona International Speedway, P1 Engines will travel from coast-to-coast to support customers.
