Schu, Prost, Berger, Massa back Todt for president

(GMM) On the heels of Max Mosley and Bernie Ecclestone, two more influential voices have publicly backed the FIA presidential campaign of Jean Todt.

Todt, who is in the Singapore paddock this weekend, would work "for the well being of the entire sport", his former Ferrari driver and close friend Michael Schumacher is quoted as saying by the German news agency SID.

Former Ferrari drivers Alain Prost and Gerhard Berger are also backing the 63-year-old Frenchman against the independent candidate Ari Vatanen, as is Felipe Massa, who is managed by Todt's son Nicolas.

The elections take place at the FIA General Assembly on 23 October.
