The Inductees were announced today at the International Motor Press Association meeting at the New York International Auto Show (IMPA). IMPA is the oldest organization of automotive journalists and public relations professionals in the United States.

Formal induction ceremonies will take place at the Ritz-Carlton in Dearborn, Mich., on Tuesday, October 7, 2008.

"As we build on a heritage of honoring those who have made substantial contributions to the motor vehicle industry, this year's class of Inductees once again stands out from the crowd," said AHF President Jeffrey K. Leestma.
