Cabo Wabo re-ups with A.J. Foyt Racing

Cabo Wabo Tequila will for the third consecutive year be an associate sponsor of the No. 14 A.J. Foyt Racing car driven by Darren Manning this year.

"Cabo Wabo's involvement with A.J. Foyt Racing stems from my personal passion for the sport," Cabo Wabo creator Sammy Hagar said. "As a committed racing fan, I was delighted about the opportunity to partner with such a legendary team as A.J. Foyt. The last two years, Cabo Wabo's participation has been an enormous success, and I'm sure the year ahead will be no exception."

Hagar attended the IndyCar Series race at Infineon Raceway last August, watching the race from A.J. Foyt's pit stand. The crew sported song titles on their race day uniforms, including "I Can't Drive 55." Moreover, Vic Johnson, a guitarist with Hagar's Waboritas band, was also on hand and served as an honorary crew member.

"Sammy is a real down-to-earth guy," A.J. Foyt said. "He created a lot of excitement around our team and I am looking forward to having Cabo Wabo Tequila and Sammy Hagar be part of our team again this year.
