Rahal team, Scott Sharp, Patron Reach Settlement In Breach-of-Contract Case

Rahal Letterman Racing, Scott Sharp Sports LLC, Scott Sharp Inc. and Scott Sharp, joined by The Patr¢n Spirits Company today announced that the parties have reached an amicable settlement in their breach-of-contract case claims against each other.

Terms of the settlement are confidential and will not be released.

“We are pleased to put this mutually unpleasant matter behind us. We now can look forward to the start of what promises to be a successful 2008 season." said Rahal Letterman Racing co-owner Bobby Rahal. “I appreciate Scott's and Patron's commitment to creating a fair and equitable settlement in this matter and I wish both Ed Brown and Scott the best of luck in their racing endeavors this season."

Rahal Letterman Racing will begin its 2008 racing season March 29 with the IndyCar Series’ Gainsco Auto Insurance Indy 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Scott Sharp and Highcroft Racing will kick off the racing season in the Patr¢n car this weekend at the 12 hours of Sebring.
