Hopkins falls, breaks hand

UPDATE An update provided by Hopkins on his MySpace page lists his injuries as two broken toes, sprains to both ankles, a chipped bone in the left wrist and a 'fully sprained' right wrist. It appears he will miss this weekend's final pre-season test, at Jerez in Spain.

02/16/07 American John Hopkins suffered a suspected fractured hand after crashing in MotoGP's final day of testing at Qatar's Losail circuit. The Californian fell from his Suzuki during the morning session and was taken to hospital for X-rays.
