Mid-Ohio completes track improvements

The parent company of the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course finished a slate of safety improvements in time for a major motorcycle event, it reported Thursday. The $450,000 project relocated two walls, brought in 1,000 feet of safety barriers and smoothed out two gravel pits. The course completed the improvements in advance of the Honda Super Cycle Weekend, a series of motorcycle races to take place July 22-24.
