O’Ward wins pole for IndyCar Race 2 at Road America

Arrow-McLaren Chevy Mexican ace Pato O'Ward won his first IndyCar pole at Road American Sunday morning and will lead the field to the green for the 2nd half of the IndyCar doubleheader in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.

Colton Herta topped the Group 2 qualifying but his time was slower than O'Wards and will start on the outside of the front row.

Rookie Alex Palou, proved that his third-place finish was no fluke on Saturday and was just 0.0221s away from winning the pole in his Dale Coyne Honda.
