Start of the 2006 Champ Car race at Road America

09/08/15 IndyCars will lap Road America for the first time in eight years later this month ahead of the fabled four-mile road circuit's return to the calendar next season reports Autosport.

Two separate team-organized tests have been scheduled for September 22 and September 28, which was a mainstay on the CART Indycar/Champ Car calendar between 1982 and 2007.

The identity of the teams involved and the exact scheduling of the tests are yet to be confirmed but AR1.com sources say one will be a Chevy team and one a Honda team. We hear that will be Penske (Chevy) and Andretti (Honda).
