Nakagami leads Zarco in Jerez FP2 session

LCR Honda's Takaaki Nakagami was a surprise in the second MotoGP practice for the Andalusian Grand Prix at Jerez beating the Avintia Ducati of Johann Zarco.

Riding the year-old RC213V, Nakagami led the session early on with a 1m38.704s, and finished the afternoon 0.155 seconds clear of the field.

Marc Marquez will attempt a return on Saturday, using today to heal further from the broken arm sustained last Sunday here.
