The Glen sells out McDonald’s grandstand

Tickets in the McDonalds Family Grandstand are SOLD OUT for the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen weekend, August 6-9. The family-friendly grandstand offers one of the best seats in the house, allowing fans to watch the stars of the Sprint Cup Series zip through the Esses and head for the backstretch. For the first time in recent memory, the McDonald’s Family Grandstand has sold out two weeks before the green flag falls at The Glen.

Other great seats at The Glen are still available for the upcoming Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen weekend, August 6-9. General admission weekend tickets begin at just $80, which allows seating in general admission grandstands Thursday-Saturday only. For just $85, fans can purchase a weekend ticket that includes a reserved grandstand seat for the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen on Sunday, August 9. In addition to three great races, weekend tickets allow fans to attend all of the special events going on off the track, including the Red Cat Concert on Saturday night and various autograph sessions.

Seats in the McDonald’s Family Grandstand offer fans several perks. A nearby Jumbotron shows the action around the 2.45-mile circuit, and a four-day general admission pass with reserved seating for Sunday’s Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen ensures a great view of the track. Additionally, the McDonald’s Family Grandstand features a strict smoke- and alcohol-free policy to providing fans with a family-friendly experience.

As an added bonus, the McDonalds Family Grandstand offers quick and easy access to the McDonald’s Kid Zone. Located just behind the grandstand, the McDonald’s Kid Zone offers hours of entertainment for kids throughout the weekend with inflatables, games, crafts and more. This year, the McDonald’s Kid Zone will also feature several safety displays, including a finger printing station and a display by the New York State Office of Fire Prevention and Control. McDonald’s characters, as well as drivers, will stop by the McDonald’s Kid Zone for special visits throughout the weekend. Ronald McDonald will even stop by the Kid Zone on Sunday morning to meet children, take photos, and sign autographs. The McDonald’s Kid Zone will be open at 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Friday, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM on Saturday, and 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM on Sunday.

Don’t miss the stars of the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series as they take on the twisted turns of Watkins Glen International in their final road-course race of the season, August 6 – 9. The Daytona Prototype Class of the Rolex Sports Car Series returns to The Glen to compete in the Crown Royal 200 on Friday night, followed by the Zippo 200 with the NASCAR Nationwide Series on Saturday afternoon. The weekend will culminate with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series racing in the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen on Sunday afternoon.
