Honda eyes Grand-Am, then NASCAR

With rumors rampant that Honda might drop out of the IRL, word on the street is that they may follow Toyota (Lexus) to the France family's Grand-Am series before they follow Toyota to the France family's NASCAR series (rumormongers say to pay their dues to the Frances before being allowed entry into the holy gates of NASCAR). Honda officials were at the Rolex 24 eyeing up the scene. Despite Honda officials denying they had plans to go to NASCAR, Honda's Robert Clarke was quoted as saying "we have no current plans, but never say never."
