Hunter-Reay tops only IndyCar Mid-Ohio Practice Session
IndyCar has a condensed schedule for this weekend’s Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio and Saturday morning featured the only practice session.
Andretti Autosport’s Ryan Hunter-Reay turned the fastest lap with a time of 1m06.303s to lead the practice session over Team Penske’s Will Power by just 0.0918s.
The #27 Andretti Autosport Honda of Alexander Rossi was third quick 0.1265s back after leading most of the session.
Points leader Scott Dixon was 4th quick in his Ganassi Honda while Santino Ferrucci rounded out the top-5 in his Dale Coyne Honda.
Honda had 4 cars in the top-5.
Qualifying is up next. The run for pole should be exciting.
