Self-Driving Race Car’s Run Ends With Immediate Crash

This video shows you just far we are from having computers replace humans as race car drivers.  The car was from Swiss team Acronis SIT Autonomous, and the race was the first in what Roborace has dubbed “Season Beta.”

We still can’t stop laughing. From a standing start the car turns hard right into the wall.

Roborace is the world first driver-less/autonomous motorsports category.

This is one of their first live-broadcasted events.
