Rolex 24 Hour 23: #55 Mazda hunting down the #10 Acura

The #55 Mazda was running a sleeper race until the final two hours but now the Mazda, with Harry Ticknell at the wheel is just 2.5s behind and giving the leading #10 Acura of Filipe Albuquerque a real fight.

However, this race can still go to any of the leading five cars and pit strategy might determine who wins this one.

At the 23-hour mark Juan Montoya was 3rd in the #60 Acura ahead of the #01 Cadillac of Renger van der Zande and the #48 Ally Cadillac with Kamui Kobayashi at the wheel – all within 16 seconds of the lead.

The #3 Corvette of Jordan Taylor was back up front in GTLM, just 0.5 s ahead of the #24 RLL BMW of Augusto Farfus.
