IndyCar: O’Ward remains on top at end of Monday testing at Laguna Seca
Although Romain Grosjean dethroned Pato O’Ward from the top of the speed charts for a while Monday afternoon, O’Ward was back on top by the end of the day as IndyCar testing wrapped up at Laguna Seca, Ca.
O’Ward, driving the #5 Arrows McLaren SP Chevy turned a mega lap of 1m11.29s to lead the two Dale Coyne Racing Hondas of Ed Jones and Romain Grosjean by 0.24s and 0.28s respectively.
Felix Rosenqvist was 4th quick in the #7 Arrow McLaren Chevy, 0.31s behind his teammate.
Jack Harvey rounded out the top-5 in the #60 Meyer Shank Racing Honda.
