Rumor: IndyCar to renew with NBC

Mark Miles thinks media rights talks will be advanced by June he told Adam Stern: “NBC has been a great partner in those discussions, and we’re thinking initially more about programming and less about economics.

“There are a couple other folks we’re talking to about what their interest might be.”

We do know that ABC and CBS have some interest, but given Miles statement above, it does not seem like much.

If IndyCar can negotiate 100% of their races on network TV like NBC in the new contract, it would be a huge shot in the arm for the series.
