Rumor: 2022 IndyCar Silly Season update
Some updates to our 2022 IndyCar Silly Season page below:
- Sebastien Bourdais is now ‘strong’ for the #14 AJ Foyt Entry
- Andretti IndyLights driver Devlin DeFrancesco may graduate to IndyCar in 2022 and replace James Hinchcliffe in the #29 Andretti Autosport entry.
- Not sure what this means for Andretti’s top Lights driver Kyle Kirkwood, but we have him driving the #60 Meyer Shank car in 2022 – a satellite Andretti team
- Alex Albon has opportunities in DTM and as a factory Nissan driver in Formula E – both of which pay him to drive, vs, IndyCar, which does not have enough sponsor money in the paddock so he would have to buy an IndyCar seat. His ‘rating’ is reduced to ‘Speculation.’
