IndyCar Silly Season Update Correction (Update)
Kevin Magnussen has been removed from our 2022 IndyCar Silly Season table below.
We forgot that Kevin Magnussen, Paul di Resta and Jean-Eric Vergne will race Peugeot’s new Le Mans Hypercar in the World Endurance Championship in 2022.
The Ganassi Cadillac IMSA team is looking for a replacement for Magnussen for 2022. Ex-Porsche factory driver Earl Bamber and Formula E star Alex Lynn are in the running.
The team hopes to expand to 2-cars in 2022.
It also looks very doubtful that Alex Albon will drive an IndyCar in 2022, as F1 will find a place for him to ensure his Thai money stays in F1 and IndyCar doesn’t get any of it.
