Rumor: COTA to sign F1 contract extension this weekend

COTA Chairman Bobby Epstein, the man who was instrumental in bringing F1 back to the USA, says he expects the largest crowd in history for this weekend’s USGP with every seat sold out (while the NASCAR and IndyCar oval races at Texas Motor Speedway are dying a slow death).

Rumor has it that COTA will agree to a contract extension this weekend with F1. COTA remains hugely successful despite a 2nd F1 race in the USA coming online next year in Miami.
