On April 14th, 2002, Michael Andretti won for the last time in his INDYCAR career at Long Beach.

Note how much larger the grandstands were back then compared to what they are today, underscoring how far IndyCar has fallen since Tony George split the sport by creating the IRL and nearly destroyed the sport. It has yet to fully recover.
