IndyCar: Qualifying Groups For Big City Music Grand Prix ** Weather 2nd Update **

We have just gotten notice that the shelter in place has been lifted.   Qualifying will be starting between 5 and 5:15 pm local time.

Indy Lights qualifying will not happen and the drivers will line up by entrant points for tomorrow’s race.

The Stadium Super Trucks will not have any track time today.

The INDYCAR Series qualifying for today is still on hold for the weather as of 4 pm local time.   It is not raining at the moment but lightning has been sighted in the area.  Each time there is a lightning strike in the area, it causes a 30-minute delay.  Then the series has to get everyone on track, which takes almost another 30 minutes.

Here are the qualifying groups for the Firestone Fast Six when the weather delay is lifted.
