Rumor: IndyCars days at TMS numbered?

Rumor (per Kenny Sargent of Speedfreaks) has it that Texas Motor Speedway will go the way of California Speedway in Fontana and be blown up and reconfigured next year after the season.

No word on whether it will be made into a 1/2-mile short track like Fontana, or some other configuration.

Whether it will still be conducive to IndyCar remains to be seen if it is changed, but IndyCar is expected back at the track next year as a minimum.
