F1: Additional images of actual Haas 2023 car (Update)

Here are additional scenes from the Haas VF-23 Shakedown run on a cold, damp day at Silverstone.

Within what appears to be an unchanged suspension arrangement (push rod front/pull rod rear) and wheelbase, Haas have revised their whole sidepod/engine cover arrangement, suggesting a similar change to the radiator arrangement as made by the other Ferrari-engined customer team, Alfa Romeo.

It would appear that Haas have moved their tunnel inlets further back within the chassis. That and the fact that the radiator inlets also appear to be sited mid-cockpit rather than at the front (as they were on the VF-22), suggests that some radiator area has been moved away from the front of the sidepod

February 11, 2023

Haas has revealed the first images of its 2023 Formula 1 car ahead of its shakedown and film day at Silverstone today.

Pictured with staff and drivers Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg, the new car featured some interesting changes from last year’s challenger.

The car appears to show reprofiled concave down sidepods on the top and a step floor both used by the Ferrari F1-75 in 2022. Let’s hope they copied well.
