Ford CEO Jim Farley visited the RBPT facility to meet Christian Horner and the Red Bull Racing team

F1: Ford CEO visits new Red Bull powertrains campus

–by Mark Cipolloni–

Porsche, licking their wounds after getting rejected by all the existing F1 teams, must be kicking themselves for trying to gain controlling interest over Red Bull instead of how Ford did the agreement.

Ford CEO Jim Farley visited the new Red Bull Powertrains campus today ahead of their planned entry into Formula 1 with Red Bull in 2026.

The car giant announced its involvement with the team at their RB19 car launch in February, where they confirmed their partnership with the Red Bull Powertrains division to produce the electrified elements of the power unit.

Farley appeared at the campus in Milton Keynes, in front of the new sign which also shows the Ford logos in with Red Bull.

Red Bull team boss, Christian Horner, said in a post on social media: “Great to have Ford CEO Jim Farley visit the Campus today and see the 2026 Red Bull Ford engine project coming to life.”
