Teams have received the revised 2020 Ferrari Challenge North America schedule, featuring more time within the United States and adds another prestigious purpose-built Formula 1 circuit.

The 2020 race schedule was previously put on hold for the COVID-19 pandemic after completing the first two event weekends, which included two rounds at Daytona International Speedway and two rounds at MICHELIN Raceway Road Atlanta. The rework ensures the safety of series officials, track staff and teams.

Round 3: July 24-26: Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Round 4: August 28-30: Circuit of the Americas

Round 5: September 25-27: WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca

Round 6: October 9-11: Watkins Glen International

Round 7: November 4-6: Yas Marina Circuit

Race weekends will include additional changes made to the inner workings such as virtual driver meetings and contactless check-in. Round 3 in Indianapolis will not be open to fans to minimize risk while the series and teams get used to new safety measures.

For Scuderia Corsa Team Owner Giacomo Mattioli the Ferrari Challenge schedule provides equal excitement as it did anticipation.

"We're happy to see a new plan in place for our Ferrari Challenge drivers," Mattioli said. "I think everyone is thankful that the series kept many of the previously planned circuits on the calendar. COTA is a great addition to the schedule being an F1 track and a pristine venue. We're looking forward to getting back to competing."
