IndyCar: Sunday Morning Report from Detroit Grand Prix
Good morning from Detroit, where the NTT INDYCAR Series and the INDY NXT will race for the third time on the streets of downtown for the Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear. The sun is shining this morning, and temperatures are predicted to be in the low 70s.
Andretti Global’s Colton Herta is on the pole for today’s race. The American is hoping to break Alex Palou’s winning streak over the last four races.

“I think this is a place that promotes pretty good passing as far as street courses go, and crazy strategy, and we’ve seen the past two years with a lot of yellows. So anything can happen.”
“I think we’re really just focused on doing the right things for ourselves, and if we get screwed some way or another, that’s the way it’s going to go. But we’ve just got to put together a good Sunday from what we can do.”

Here is today’s schedule in Eastern Time.
9:32 – 9:57 am NTT INDYCAR Series Warm-up
10:36 am INDY NXT by Firestone Race
12:30 – 3:00 pm IndyCar Race on Fox with green flag at 12:52 pm
