IndyCar: Saturday Morning Delay at World Wide Technology Raceway (Update)

The track is almost dry here at WWTR.  Here is the new schedule for today.

1:00 pm                 NTT INDYCAR Series Practice (60 minutes)

2:15 pm                 INDY NXT by Firestone Practice (45 minutes)

 4:30 pm               IndyCar Qualifying

Cancelled             High Line Practice in two groups

6 pm                        INDY NXT Qualifying

7:15 pm                IndyCar Final Practice

It’s not a good morning here in Madison, IL, at World Wide Technology Raceway, as the track is being dried after a rainstorm overnight.  It is still slightly spitting, as the NTT INDYCAR Series teams have been instructed to remain in the garage until the situation clears up and the track is dry.

We are being informed that the IndyCar practice, initially scheduled for 10:30 a.m., has been postponed due to additional rain at this time.

The weather has already altered the schedule, all times in Central Time.

10:30 am              NTT INDYCAR Series Practice

12:05 pm              INDY NXT by Firestone Practice

  2:00 pm               IndyCar Qualifying

 4:45 pm               High Line Practice in two groups

5:30 pm                IndyCar Final Practice
