TV News: USA Motorsports weekend TV Viewers/TV Ratings

TV viewers for the three major motorsports events telecast in the USA last weekend. The NASCAR Cup race in Las Vegas, won by Denny Hamlin,  the NHRA Fall Nationals in Dallas, and the IMSA Petit LeMans season finale.

NHRA

Helped by an NFL lead-in, FOX drew 1.872 million TV viewers for the Fall Nationals Finals on Sunday

NASCAR

NASCAR’s TV ratings continued to plummet unabated. The USA Network drew 1.872 million viewers for the NASCAR Cup race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway,  down 18.6% from the 2.3 million viewers on NBC last year for the same race.

The Saturday Xfinity race from Las Vegas on The CW drew 745,000 viewers.  It wasn’t long ago that the Xfinity races all drew over 1 million viewers.

IMSA

The conclusion of the 10-Hour IMSA Petit Le Mans from Road Atlanta last Saturday on NBC drew just 440,00 TV viewers.
