F1 Brazilian Grand Prix: Who Were the Winners and Losers?
Another exciting F1 Brazilian Grand Prix is behind us, and it went as most fans expected. But apart from the somewhat predictable showings, we were also able to enjoy a couple of unexpected performances. As such, we can say that there were a couple of winners, despite Lando Norris finishing first.
Apart from the best performers, there were also a few drivers who didn’t have the best of races. We classify these drivers as losers as they missed out on valuable points right before the end of the season. Without further ado, it’s time to check out the winners and losers at the F1 Brazilian Grand Prix.
The Winners at the F1 Brazilian Grand Prix and at the Bookmakers
It goes without saying that the biggest winner at this Grand Prix was Lando Norris. He not only won the race, but he also led during practice and won the Sprint pole. This win allowed him to remain on top of the driver’s standings with 390 points.
Next up, we have Kimi Antonelli, who finished 2nd and had a great race altogether. He managed to overcome a contact with Piastri and continue driving strongly and cautiously. Not even the super-fast Max Verstappen was able to catch up to him.

Speaking of Verstappen, he is also one of the winners of this Grand Prix. He ended in 3rd position, falling just +0.320 behind Antonelli. Many fans and punters believe that Verstappen will bounce back for the next Grand Prix. Those who are interested in placing a bet on motorsports using Apple Pay might also consider wagering on the Dutch driver.

Another winner at the Brazilian Grand Prix is Ollie Bearman. This driver got a back-to-back top 6 finish that gave his team, Haas, their best-ever result at Interlagos.
Finally, we have Pierre Gasly, the Alpine driver, who got his team their first point in the last 8 races. He accomplished that while driving a rather slow and difficult car, which is why we labelled him a winner.
Less-Fortunate Drivers at the F1 Brazilian Grand Prix
Just like in any F1 race, the Brazilian Grand Prix saw a couple of drivers who managed to underperform. One of them was Oscar Piastri, who lost yet another race to his teammate Norris. This allowed the Brit to extend his lead on the table.
We must note that Piastri was very unlucky during this race as he got a 10-second penalty for a collision with Antonelli. Things might have gone in a different direction if it weren’t for this incident.
Another loser at the featured Grand Prix was Gabriel Bortoleto. The Brazilian driver had a bad crash at the end of the Sprint, which seriously damaged his car. This forced him to end the race without completing a single lap.

Yuki Tsunoda is the final loser that we’ll mention, as he finished the race in last place with +01:09.176 behind Norris. Nothing went in favor of the Japanese driver during this Grand Prix. He even received 2 penalties.
The Winners and Losers Among the Teams
Apart from the drivers, we can also point out the Brazilian Grand Prix winners and losers among the teams. We only have one winner in mind, and that is Racing Bulls.
This team entered the featured Grand Prix without a single point in the last 3 races. But things went unexpectedly well at Interlagos as their drivers, Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar, finished 7th and 8th, respectively. With the double points, Racing Bulls are now 10 points ahead of Aston Martin.
As for the losers, we can reveal 3 such teams. Ferrari is one of them as both of its drivers didn’t finish the race. Charles Leclerc retired after the 5th lap as a victim of the collision between Piastri and Antonelli. Lewis Hamilton broke his front wing following contact with Franco Colapinto, which forced him to retire the car.
Aston Martin was also a losing team after Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll finished 14th and 16th, respectively. The third less-fortunate team was Williams, which had good potential but failed to materialize. Carlos Sainz ended the race in 13th place while Alex Albon finished in 11th position.
