WEC News: Peugeot team appoints Emmanuel Esnault as Team Principal
Team Peugeot TotalEnergies announced Emmanuel Esnault (pictured) as Team Principal of its FIA World Endurance Championship Hypercar program.
In this key leadership role, Emmanuel Esnault will oversee all operational activities, strengthening the organisation as the team prepares for the 2026 season.
With a strong background across multiple motorsport disciplines, Emmanuel Esnault brings significant technical and managerial expertise. His experience within top-tier organisations throughout his career, including McLaren in Formula 1 and Lamborghini Iron Lynx in Endurance racing — will be a major asset for the future of the FIA WEC Hypercar entry.
Emmanuel Esnault will officially join Team Peugeot TotalEnergies in January 2026, contributing to the upward momentum and supporting the team’s ambition for stronger performance in the coming years.
