But for Audi’s ambitious factory effort—spanning the power unit hub in Neuburg, Germany; the chassis base in Hinwil; and the emerging Technical Centre in Bicester, UK—this event carried extra weight. It represented the fruits of intense collaboration across borders, bringing to life the dedication of hundreds of engineers, mechanics, and specialists pouring their expertise into the brand’s debut under the revolutionary 2026 regulations.
The successful integration lays a robust foundation as the team gears up for the major technical overhaul next season, emphasizing sustainable fuels and enhanced electrification.
