Daytona International Speedway Announces 2027 Rolex 24 Date

Daytona International Speedway announced today that the 65th running of the Rolex 24 will take place January 28-31, 2027. The 2027 edition of the Roar Before the Rolex 24 will be from January 22-24.

“With so many fans traveling from all 50 states and dozens of countries for North America’s most prestigious sportscar race, we wanted to give fans plenty of time to make their travel and lodging plans for the 2027 Rolex 24,” said Frank Kelleher, President of Daytona International Speedway. “This event continues to showcase an incredible twice-around-the-clock marathon with the world’s top drivers and teams. We’re looking forward to welcoming fans back to the World Center of Racing for the 64th running of the Rolex 24 next weekend.”

The date change aligns more naturally with the overall Daytona International Speedway event calendar, including the 69th running of the DAYTONA 500, which will move off its traditional Presidents’ Day weekend and take place on February 21, 2027.

Last year, Porsche Penske Motorsport won its second consecutive Rolex 24. The No. 7 Porsche 963 was driven by a team comprised of Felipe Nasr, Nick Tandy and Laurens Vanthoor. Nasr was the only member of the trio who was part of 2024’s winning entry. The victory was Nasr’s third (2024 in GTP/overall, 2022 in Grand Touring Daytona Pro), Tandy’s second (2014 GT Le Mans) and Vanthoor’s first at the Rolex 24.

Guests can experience 24 hours of intense on-track battles during the historic Rolex 24 At DAYTONA starting on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 1:40 p.m. ET and continuing through the wave of the checkered flag on Sunday, Jan. 25.

Fans can get up close and personal to the cars, teams, and drivers as admission includes garage access for all four days of IMSA action. Tickets are available for the 2026 Rolex 24 At DAYTONA at www.daytonainternationalspeedway.com or by calling 1-800-PITSHOP.
