Schneider Electric to become the Official Energy Technology Partner of McLaren Racing

This collaboration spans McLaren’s diverse racing portfolio, including the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team, the Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team, McLaren F1 Academy, and the McLaren United Autosports WEC Hypercar Team.

From trackside power solutions at circuits worldwide to operations at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, UK, Schneider Electric will work alongside McLaren to ensure reliable, efficient energy management. Building on a supplier relationship that dates back over two decades, the two organizations will tackle complex energy challenges where downtime is not an option. Key initiatives include optimizing assets around the wind tunnel, manufacturing facilities, and IT data centers. This will involve implementing resilient systems to cut energy use, advancing electrification with state-of-the-art technologies, and utilizing digital twin simulations to boost overall efficiency and sustainability.
