Formula 1 News: Oracle Red Bull Racing Extends Title Partnership with Oracle in Multi-Year Deal

Oracle Red Bull Racing has secured its technological future by announcing a multi-year extension and expansion of its title partnership with Oracle, just days before the most significant regulatory overhaul in modern Formula 1 history kicks off in Australia.

The deal, revealed on February 26, 2026, deepens what the team calls “the most integrated team-technology partnership in F1,” with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle AI, and Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications playing central roles in everything from power-unit development to race-day strategy and back-office operations.

Since Oracle became title partner in 2022, Oracle Red Bull Racing has delivered three Drivers’ World Championships, two Constructors’ titles, and a string of records. The renewed agreement ensures that momentum carries into the all-new 2026 regulations, which dramatically reshape hybrid power units, energy management, and aerodynamics.

Laurent Mekies, CEO and Team Principal of Oracle Red Bull Racing, said:
“Since Oracle became the Team’s title partner in 2022, the Team has delivered three Drivers’ World Championships, two Constructors’ World Championships, and broken many records. Our partnership with Oracle has been hugely successful, and we are delighted that we will continue together into this new era for F1. We rely on Oracle’s invaluable expertise to help us understand and optimise countless variables with greater precision and speed than the competition. With Oracle Cloud and Oracle AI, we can adapt quickly, make smarter decisions, and sustain the level of performance required to win Championships.”

Clay Magouyrk, CEO of Oracle, added:
“Oracle Red Bull Racing relies on Oracle Cloud and Oracle AI to achieve the highest levels of performance and solve some of the most complex, time-critical challenges in the world. The same technologies the Team uses to model strategy, refine its hybrid power unit, and deploy the latest AI innovations trackside are the ones powering transformation for companies across every industry. Whether on the track or in the enterprise, Oracle Cloud and Oracle AI deliver the speed and intelligence needed to win.”

Four Pillars of the Expanded Partnership

1. AI-Powered Strategy Agent
A groundbreaking AI agent — developed with Oracle’s full AI stack — will launch trackside this season. Working alongside human engineers, it will automate data collection, analyse historical and real-time inputs, and deliver instant insights to help strategists react faster to changing race conditions.

2. Next-Generation Red Bull Ford Powertrains Hybrid Unit
The all-new 2026 power unit from Red Bull Ford Powertrains was designed, tested, and refined entirely on OCI. Using high-performance computing, bare-metal infrastructure, and large-scale simulations, the team built a competitive engine from scratch in record time — a major achievement against manufacturers with decades of experience. OCI will continue to host updates and integrations throughout the season.

3. Advanced Race Simulations
The 2026 rules demand far more sophisticated modeling. OCI enables deeper, more granular simulations covering energy deployment, active aero, tire interactions, and thousands of race scenarios. This gives drivers and strategists clearer, data-backed guidance for every session and race.

4. Operational Excellence Across the Organisation
Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications will power finance, HR, and marketing, embedding AI to streamline budgeting, payroll, employee experience, and fan engagement. Personalized content, members-only rewards, and a new fan loyalty program are all part of the plan to boost efficiency and deepen connections with supporters.

With the 2026 season starting March 5 in Melbourne, the extended Oracle partnership positions Oracle Red Bull Racing to tackle the new technical and strategic challenges head-on. From an AI co-pilot in the strategy room to a cloud-born power unit on the grid, the team is entering the next chapter of Formula 1 with one of the most advanced technology ecosystems in the sport.

The future, it seems, is not just fast — it’s intelligently powered by Oracle.
