TV News: USA Motorsports TV Viewers/TV Ratings (Update)

FS1 got a 1.44 rating and 2.771 million viewers for Sunday’s NASCAR Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube at Las Vegas, down 3% and 8%, respectively, from a 1.48 rating and 3.011 million last year.

The good news for NASCAR is that it drew more than twice the TV viewers as IndyCar and the IndyCar race was broadcast on FOX whereas the NASCAR race was relagated to a cable channel (FS1). When NASCAR races are broadcast on FOX they typically get 3 to 5 million TV viewers.

Reader Mordichai Rosen noted the following: “IndyCar is doing so much better on FOX than when it was on the Libtard run NBC and its affiliated channels.”
