Verstappen wins exciting Brazilian GP
  First Honda 1-2 since Senna days
Polesitter Max Verstappen drove to a convincing victory in the Brazilian GP at Interlagos outdueling Lewis Hamilton on more than one occasion for his third win of the year. Pierre Gasly held off Hamilton for 2nd who was later handed a 5-sec. penalty for spinning Alex Albon out of 2nd place with one lap to go and moved to 7th. Carlos Sainz Jr., Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi rounded out the top-5 in a race that saw both Ferraris take each other out battling for the final podium position.
Marquez beats Quartararo for 12th win of 2019
  Again spanks the Yamaha rookie to give Honda triple crown
The Repsol Honda Team are 2019 triple crown Champions after Marc Marquez claimed victory number 12 of the season at the Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana, with Jorge Lorenzo scoring points in his final MotoGP ride to help Honda win the Teams Championship. Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha SRT) and Jack Miller (Pramac Racing) complete the final podium of the season.
Torrence, Hagan, Coughlin, Jr., M. Smith #1 at Pomona
  Auto Club NHRA Finals
Defending world champ and Top Fuel points leader Steve Torrence made an impressive statement during the final qualifying session on Saturday at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona, vaulting to the No. 1 spot at the Auto Club NHRA Finals. Matt Hagan (Funny Car), Jeg Coughlin Jr. (Pro Stock) and Matt Smith (Pro Stock Motorcycle) are all No. 1 qualifiers in their respective categories at the last of six races in the 2019 NHRA Mello Yello Countdown to the Championship playoffs. The race also serves as the finale of the 24-race 2019 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season.
Tyler Reddick wins back to back Xfinity Series titles
  First driver in series history to win with two different teams
Tyler Reddick raced his way into the history books on Saturday as the first NASCAR Xfinity Series driver to win back-to-back series titles with two different teams after winning the Ford EcoBoost 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway to score his sixth victory of the season and take home the series crown. Reddick led the final 19 laps after passing race leader and fellow championship contender Cole Custer an ran flawlessly to the checkered flag, beating Custer, Christopher Bell and Justin Allgaier to Become just the seventh driver in series history to win back-to-back titles.

Verstappen wins pole for Brazilian GP
  Vettel 2nd for Ferrari
Red Bull Honda ace Max Verstappen put up a lap of 1.07.508s to win pole position for the Brazilian GP, the 2nd pole of his F1 career. Lacking downforce in the slow middle sector, Sebastian Vettel could only muster the 2nd quick time for Ferrari, 0.123s down on the Dutchman. Lewis Hamilton made a big step in his final run, stealing third from the 2nd Ferrari of Charles Leclerc.  Valtteri Bottas rounded out the top-5 in the 2nd Mercedes.
Quartararo nips Marquez for pole in Valencia
  But can he win on Sunday?
Fabio Quartararo scored his sixth MotoGP pole position of the season after edging world champion Marc Marquez, in qualifying for the 2019 Valencia finale. The Petronas Yamaha SRT rider underlined his one lap pace by becoming the only rider to dip inside the 1:29s bracket to claim pole and his 13th front row start this year with a benchmark 1:29.978s at the checkered flag. Marquez was just 0.032s back. It was that close!
Matt Crafton wins third NASCAR Truck Series title
  Finishes second behind race winner Austin Hill in Truck Series finale
All but counted out for the title before the race began, without a win, and nearly a decade older than the next-oldest title contender, Matt Crafton, with tears in his eyes, was the one celebrating at the end. Still winless for the year after finishing second in the Ford EcoBoost 200, Crafton won his third Gander Outdoors Truck Series championship after finishing second behind race winner Austin Hill in Friday night's season finale.
