Rookie beats Truex Jr. by 0.271s

Both young drivers were going for their first IndyCar win and it was Felix Rosenqvist who ran down Pato O'ward and passed him with 1.5 laps to go to win the 2nd half of the Road America doubleheader in a hard fought battle. O'Ward led most of the race but in the end O'Ward did not have the tires left to hold off the Ganassi Honda. Alexander Rossi finally got a podium finish but he had nothing for Rosenqvist and O'Ward and had to settle for a distant third.

Scott Dixon holds off Will Power for 3rd straight win
Race 1 of Road America doubleheader

Hamilton takes Styrian GP pole in driving rain
1.2 secs faster than entire grid
Lewis Hamilton made a real statement in qualifying for the Styrian GP in heavy rain as he put his #44 Mercedes on pole by a stunning 1.216s over Red Bull's Max Verstappen who lost his car in the final corner of his last lap. But it would not have mattered as no one had anything for Lewis Hamilton on this day. Carlos Sainz Jr. was an excellent third for McLaren while Lando Norris was 6th in the other McLaren. Valtteri Bottas and Esteban Ocon rounded out the top-5.
